Do M2 barrels fit M1S90s?

I was told that an M2 barrel will work on the M1S90. However, some material would need to be trimmed from the fore end. I really do not want to bubba up my perfectly good forend.

 

Does the M2 barrel fit and Does anyone know how major the trimming would need to be?
