justanotherhemi Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I just finished reading the owners manual. On the loading instructions it says my Benelli Nova can take up to 4 2 3/4 shells in the magazine. I tried loading it as the instructions indicated and was only able to load 2 shells. When attempting to load the third it would go in about 90% and then stop. Is this normal? Am I doing somthing wrong? I live in Texas and was bought at an Academy Sports and Outdoors. Could it be that Texas prohibits more than 2 rounds in the magazine? Please help. I am new to shotguns and this is my first Benelli. Thanks in advance Quote

It can be removed by simply unscrewing the end cap and pulling it out. "A limiter plug limits firearm capacity to two shells in the magazine tube and one in the chamber to comply with various game laws that limit shotgun capacity. Always check local game and hunting regulations before heading into the field." Quote
justanotherhemi Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 Thanks for the quick reply. I checked with the local wild life/fishing office and indeed 2 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. Thanks again Quote
