Holzie Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Just got back from ND waterfowl hunting and had a question. Has anyone experienced the trigger guard of their Vinci hitting in between their first and middle finger? After a day of shooting it was kinda sore. Any recommendations or fixes out there? Quote
hattles Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Just got back from ND waterfowl hunting and had a question. Has anyone experienced the trigger guard of their Vinci hitting in between their first and middle finger? After a day of shooting it was kinda sore. Any recommendations or fixes out there? I experienced that problem when I first started shooting my Vinci, but for whatever reason, It is no longer a problem with me. The grip is a more ergonomic design than a standard grip and may be the initial cause of this "phenomenon" but, I'll bet you make a subconsious adjustment away from the issue. I have written Benelli about this issue and suggested they consider a minor change in the trigger guard configuration. Quote

jbburns Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Awwwe yes the old Benelli finger. I have the same problem with my SBEII and my Dad with his SBE. I bought a little thing from the drug store design to go on a toe (for hammer toe or something). I cut the end off and put it on the middle finger and it seems to cushion it nicely. My whole hand was black and blue after a day of shooting Cans. on lake St. Clair in Canada last year. This has solved the problem. Quote
