Cleaning Super Sport magazine tube

I need to clean the magazine tube on my super sport. Do you have to remove the tube to clean the follower?

If you look at the end of the tube, with barrel and forend removed, you will see that there is actually a nut with small wrench flats on either side. Find the appropriate size wrench and have at it. Mine has a small notch inscribed on the tube and nut that looks to be a guide to where you take it back to when reassembling. Oh, don't forget about that spring compression.

Thanks for the response. It worked great. I am going to have to call Benelli in the morning. Follower is still hanging up at the mouth of the tube.
