It turned out "good enough" for govt work. I also did it to the alignment lines/notches on the front sight. They turned out alright too. I paint it on so it fills the depression, let it sit and dry for a couple min and then wipe it off. I use acetone to wipe off the excess. I leared this from a gunsmith.
