extend Nordic +2 tube extension to +3?

I have a Nordic +2 tube extension on my Super Nova and it feels like it's just a bit shy of allowing that seventh round. Has anyone tried the +2 extension with the 3/4" extended cap? Seems like that might be just long enough without adding a lot of extra length.

You might check your capacity with another brand of shells, some brands are slightly longer (up to 1/8" or so) when you times that by 6 you end up a little shy of getting in the 7th round.
