Just got mine and put it on last night. What a difference! Having the stock set on the middle position makes the Super Nova feel like a completely different gun. Yes, very spendy, but worth every penny in my opinion. I had a Specter 6-shell buttstock pouch on my SN when it was wearing the standard stock, but I don't know if that's going to work now. I've got it on there, but the forward strap rides right next to the stock button, and the strap also prevents the stock from being closed all the way. I'll just have to play with it a while and see how it works. Also, from the pictures of the stock I thought that small circular indentation at the back, bottom corner of the stock was a QD sling swivel attachment point, but it isn't. Anyone know what this is for?

What's the going rate on these (when you can find them)?

I don't suppose Benelli makes replacement stocks for the Super Nova with a shorter LOP? I'm used to ARs with short stocks and so the Benelli feels a bit awkward. The retractable stock would fix this, but a shorter standard fixed stock would work just as well, and probably be cheaper, if it exists.

Very cool, but as I already had the parts $0 is a lot cheaper than $179. Thanks for the link though. One more pic... Top view of M3 and sling attached. It looks pretty crowded, but the QD swivel mount does not come in contact with the extension tube or nut.

I got a Benelli Super Nova a couple months ago and have really enjoyed it. One thing that has annoyed me, however, is trying to mount a forward sling. The problem is that I want to mount a light and my sling both on the left side. I've got both a Nordic Components +2 tube extension and mag/barrel clamp with picatinny rail. The rail is perfect for mounting my Insight Technologies M3, but there's no room for anything else. I contacted Wilson about a side mounting sling plate like they make for the 870, but no luck. I kept thinking that this should be an easy fix, but I wasn't coming up with anything. Then today I was digging through one of my numerous parts boxes and found a bag of left over picatinny rails from my Vltor CASV handguard. The medium sized one looked like it might just work and so I removed the short rail that came with the Nordic barrel clamp and replaced it with the Vltor rail. The rail lined up perfectly and the supplied screws were even the right thread. The new rail is now long enough for me to mount both my light and a QD sling swivel with enough space in between to still access the light controls with ease. I'm a little concerned about the rail possibly moving since it's only attached with one screw, but it does butt right up against the lower part of the clamp so this may not be an issue (time will tell). I want to replace the MI QD swivel with a narrow one from Daniel Defense, and I think I'll order a 2-point sling from Specter. (I'm currently using a 3-point sling which I prefer on my ARs, but it's a bit cluttered on a pump gun in my opinion.) Anyway, maybe someone's already covered all this, but it was a pretty easy fix so I thought I'd pass it on. Here's the Nordic barrel/mag tube clamp with the supplied short rail (now mounted on the right side). The longer Vltor rail mounted on the left side of the Nordic clamp.

I have a Nordic +2 tube extension on my Super Nova and it feels like it's just a bit shy of allowing that seventh round. Has anyone tried the +2 extension with the 3/4" extended cap? Seems like that might be just long enough without adding a lot of extra length.

While turkey hunting last spring I had one come in while I was calling. I heard something coming through the brush, but I was so set on seeing a turkey that it surprised me when I realized it was a 'yote. By the time my brain screamed, "Shoot it stupid!," it was already gone.

Does Benelli have a website dedicated to military/law enforcement sales? I'm thinking a 14" SBS Super Nova would be fun!

Where can I find the Super Nova retractable stock. I've seen pics, but can't find anywhere that has them listed for sale?

Wife got me a Super Nova Tactical for my birthday last month and I've been busy trying to figure out how I can spend more money on it. I've got a Specter 3-point sling ordered, but I'd like the forward sling attachment to mount from the left side rather than from underneath. Wilson Combat makes a nice sling plate for the 870, but I can't find anything similar for the Super Nova. I've done a search, but haven't found anything specific. Any ideas?
