Sper Black Eagle 2 slug barrel question

I ordered a Benelli slug barrel for my SBE2. Do I need a different forearm? The gun is a 2007 or 2008 model. Also, I hear the scope mount for a Remington 7600 will fit. Can anyone verify this?

Sorry to say, but yes, you do need a different forearm. I bought mine a few years ago, set me back 120 bucks. That was for Advantage Timber HD, or what ever the camo is called... Not sure if the price is different now or if you have the plain black synthetic.

what about vice versa i bought the slug gun and a field barrell thinking all i have to do is swap back and forth
