New Benelli Owner

I just purchased a Benelli Supernova and want to give it a shot at white tail hunting. I own a 86 acre farm with a tree line 70% around the property and backs up to the Potomac River. I am not sure what to use between buck shot or Slugs (or even if I can use slugs). Just looking for sound advice on amo and chokes.

Check your County restrictions for slugs.

If they're OK, I like to load a slug, followed by buckshot.

A red dot or lower powered optic would help.
