GuN_Sm0k3 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I just bought the supernova and want to get the trigger assembly out. How do u go about loosening the retaining ring nut on the telescopic stock? Don't want to damage anything.. thxs Manual says Warning: When the pistol grip or telescopic stock is installed on the shotgun the stock must be loosened before the trigger guard assembly can be removed from the receiver. To do this partially unscrew the pistol grip stock retaining nut or the telescopic grip retaining ring nut; thus making it possible to detach the pistol grip stock or the telescopic stock grip from the receiver to provide the space necessary for removing the trigger guard assembly. KB Fab Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Yes, you absolutely need to do this to remove the trigger group. What you need is two small sections of steel rod that will slip fit into the holes on the ring. Once you have that, then it's a simple matter of lefty loosey. Use the rods on opposing side holes of the ring and loosen. You have to re-adjust often. Quote
myemptymind Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Do you know if they have a special tool for loosening/tightening of that particular nut? Quote
