Well I found my own answer. Brownells sells a nifty picatinny rail for the benelli and other mfgs that has six screws mounting to receiver through top radius on sides so you avoid the thinned metal on top of receiver. It is not the typical clunky looking saddle mount. part # 483-100-007 manufactured by Da-Mar

 

Brownells also sells the Practical type compensator with interchangeble choke tubes for $89 plus $34.95 for chokes IC,M,F

Doesn't Benelli's reciever's come already drilled and tapped right from the factory? I think all you need is one of their scope bases. Anyone else have an opinion on this?
