HK M1S90 a bit sharp at the receiver

This is like my third or fourth post on this gun, my first Benelli so bear with me.

 

Are all the m1 guns a little sharp around the bottom of the receiver? I noticed the edges while feeding dummy rounds. I know there are all sorts of custom work like bolt lightening and port enlarging, does anyone commonly smooth these out?

I know many dremmel them out, mine was by the previous owner...I think its known as Benelli thumb
