NorthernComfort
After reviewing quite a few all around 12 gauge autos I decided on the Montelfreto, light, easy to carry along with fit and finish. That's the good. The bad is after only 100 rounds of shooting I immediately noticed two large, noticeable cracks at the top of the gun stock where it abuts the receiver. In my opinion the gun is now unsafe to shoot, as was the opinion of severals others at my local gun club. Being that this gun was purchased just 2 weeks ago, I immiediately contacted the store I purchased from and they advised that I must contact Benelli. I have left a message as instructed, but no call back by end of day as promised. To compound my frustration I purposefully purchased this gun for a Texas bird hunt for this coming weekend. Urgency is high to get this fixed, replaced, or something... Does anyone know who else I can contact for escalation to this problem?
