I was thinking about getting a SuperNova Field Model 28' barrel.

Does it come with a Rifled or Smoothbore barrel?

The SuperNova/Nova rifled slug barrel is an option and available in 24" only. You should visit the Benelli web site. They have a nice one.

Look under Optional Features.
