HiCap
My 20 ga. Montefelto cautions against use of steel shot with the IM and F choke tubes. I bought some Kent tungesten loads and would like to use heavishot, but was cautioned against that. Any sage advice? HiCap
tucker301
Typically, hevi-shot does best in the less constrictive tubes, but it will have no ill efects on full or modified chokes.
Rock Hall Goose'n
For waterfowl I shoot Hevi Shot through a zero choke (no constriction). My handloads pattern very well. Use your improved cylinder choke and you will get great results. For turkey, I use an extended choke (full 0.695) & Hevi Shot # 6. Awesome killer patterns. I am a big fan of Hevi Shot.
