Ithaca Slug Barrel = Benelli Slug Barrel?

Hey all,

 

It came to my attention by another Nova owner that the slug barrel that Benelli is offering up for the Nova is made by Ithaca. There is no Benelli-made barrel.

 

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Update... I believe the slug barrel this is an issue with is the cantilever barrel. I think.
