M1 bbl on M2 fit

Done a lot of research and it sure sounds like any M1 / Super 90 bbl will fit an M2 with no modifications needed; before I buy the wrong thing are there any known exceptions to this ?

 

I am aware that the M1 needs a forend mod to use M2 bbls but I am going the other way.
