Shoffy
Hello there, New to the forum.. Also a new proud owner of a Ultra Light 12ga 26" .. I've been wanting one for a long time ... I live in Washington State and do a lot of chukar, huns, pheasant and quail hunting ... this will be my primary upland gun .. I took it out the other day and shot some clays .. she points and shoots great, but she's got a little bit of a bite .. I was surprised with the recoil even shooting light trap loads .. I even tried a couple Federal Prairie Storm 3" #5 pheasant loads and they were unbearable .. Now I knew the gun was going to have a stiff recoil because of the weight and the inertia system, but non the less I was a little surprised .. So is the Limb Saver replacement recoil pad really worth it?? It seems like the stock gel pad on the gun is pretty nice anyway?? I'm not interested in putting the slip pad over the stock because I don't want to increase the length of pull ... the gun fits me perfect right out of the box
