Loading Difficulty

I now have the Benelli Ultralight in 20 gauge.  When loading the gun the shells seem to catch the rim of the shell on the upper edge of the loading magazine and require a great deal of pressure to force them into the magazine.  I've had Montefeltros - both 12 and 20 gauge - in the past and never before experienced something like this.   Any ideas??
