M4 Model Designation Lookup via S/N

Hi!

Thinking about 922(r) and the exemption presumed to apply to LE models (such as 11715 and 11721). I'm wondering if there is a place to enter a serial number to verify the parts originally installed on the shotgun when it was approved for import into the US. 

For example, my 11715 (based on a 11707) has been factory modified with the longer (+2) mag tube, collapsible stock, etc. Would love to see the "manufacturer's build sheet," similar to what you can obtain for a motor vehicle based on VIN.  I know some would advise adding the necessary US-made parts to play it safe, but that's not what I'm after here.
