SB3 Breakdown Issues

I just bought a brand new SB3 and am having issues breaking it down to put it back in the factory case. I have watched several videos where people simply unscrew the end and slide everything apart. Mine is not this simple. It is very tight and I can not easily slide the barrel off. Is this normal?
