M2 points left

I have a new M2 waterfowl that no matter what shim configurations I have used always points left when I shoulder the gun.  I have two other good shooters that say they same thing when they shoot it.  If it is laid on a rest and pointed like a rifle with both barrel beads lined up it will hit where its pointed. It's awkward lining it up.  Any suggestions with casting shims, or other suggetions?

Sorry for the possibly stupid question, but you're playing with/adjusting the metal stock locking plates too right, not just the plastic drop plates?
