Benelli M1 Super 90 Stock Replacement question

Hello all, I apologize in advance if this has been asked before.

I am wanting to change from the pistol grip stock to a m1/m3 standard (no pistol grip) stock for my Benelli M1 super 90.

I have purchased the Benelli standard m1/m3stock for this and it is on the way.

The stock does not come with part number 60343 synthetic stock swivel plate installed.

The swivel plate is available separately.

I read on the reviews for the stock that it was not necessary to purchase the swivel plate as the one from the pistol grip stock can be used for the new standard stock.

My question is, has anyone here replaced their pistol grip stock and switched the swivel plate from the pistol grip stock to the new standard stock and if so, what is the process?

I'm sure you've probably had this answered by someone else by now, however, just in case: that is exactly the same part for both stocks.

Remove the buttplate, unbolt the stock from the recoil spring tube, and pull it off.  That frees up the swivel plate (which will probably drop out on its own).
