John Doe Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Just recently bought a shotgun ammo pouch from Raine Tactical. This is the description on site: Holds 24 12 Gauge Shotgun Rounds Camouflage Quiet Loop Patch Panel Full Cover With Secure Buckle Protects Contents Under Tough Field Conditions Grommet Drainage Hole Low IR Components The package came in and was nicely boxed up with the pouch in a typical plastic bag with a cardboard sleeve running across the top of it. At first glance and handling the bag, it is stitched very well and all the spots around the "frame" of pouch looked to be doubled stitched. The only color that it comes in that I saw was in a typical camo green color. The color looks nice. The pouch has button straps on the back, but could also be used for a 2-inch belt maybe even bigger. The top flap is secured with velcro which is pretty strong, but not too hard to open up. The shells are held in place with elastic straps and the elastic is very very tight and keeps the shells in place. Even after I filled the pouch up and held it upside down and shook it hard, the shells stayed in place with no issues. It also has a little velcro patch on the front so you can put your own moral patch on which is pretty cool. It says that it holds 24 shells, but it has 25 loops and I was able to squeeze 25 3" magnum 12 gauge shells into the loops. A couple spots are a little difficult to get the shells in, but it only took me a few minutes to get the pouch filled. Overall I am pretty happy with the product and I'll take it out on one of my shotgun expeditions in the mountains and see how well it holds up. The website is rainetacticalgear.com. If you click the link here it will take you straight to the pouch, but if you go there without link you will need to use their search function and search the word shotgun and it will pop up. For some reason they do not have it in any of there drop down menus, at least that I could see. I paid $53.49 for the pouch, but that is for shipping as well and I live in Alaska so it cost a little more than the states. They did give me a 15% discount code, and on the page it says to share the code with others, so here it is, RTG15 I am in no way, shape, or form associated with this company and only sharing my own thoughts and opinions on this product. If anyone has this product I would love to hear your thoughts on it. 2 Quote
