M2 Speed loading problem

Hi everyone I recently picked up a new m2 speed and cleaned/lube it before shooting. (Minus the recoil spring) and still have a feeding issue. 

I loaded the mag tube up, hit the cartridge drop level and pulled the charging handle back and the charging handle/bolt got stuck  back and a round wouldn’t chamber. It was flat on top of the lifter. All I had to was push the charging handle forward and the gun would cycle and fire fine. But it always has this issue on the first round out of the tube.

 

Any ideas what could be wrong? I’m new to a Benelli, but did put about 75 heavy game loads through it first to break it in hoping this would solve the issue, but it didn’t.

Does this only happen when you are hand cycling the bolt?
