Patrick Baldwin Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 I have an old Montefeltro Super 90 20g. one of the old H&K models. My son is now 10 and I want to get him a first gun. My Monte is in great shape, and I'm wondering if fitting this gun with a 12" LOP youth stock would be a good option. I like the light weight of the Monte. and the light recoil of an auto. But, I could buy him a new or lightly used Remington 870 Express or the Winchester 1300 in a youth model for about $250-300. I'm betting just the stock for a Monte. would be pretty close to this amount. Any thoughts? Quote
DUKFVR Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 That what I did. I found a used youth stock & he shot the gun until he moved up to a M1 12 ga. Quote
