Whitetail Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Just got back from another great, successful whitetail hunt and used the R1 in the field for the 1st time, and all I can say is what a joy. The recoil and accurracy it exhibited on the range is the same that was enjoyed in the field. Nothing but positives. Quote

Whitetail Posted November 12, 2004 Author Posted November 12, 2004 Shot 5,2- 6 point bucks and 3 does. Had bonus tags and hunting in a party of 5, the mild weather was much nicer than last years temp of -14 below. The water was 2-3 ft. deep to walk thru and deer were not running. Closest shot was 150 yds, with one doe touching 300. Great fun as usual, however probably would have preferred the below 0 temps for the drives over the water. Good luck on your hunt. Can't wait till next year. Quote
