Drilling and tapping a Nova for a rifled slug barrel?

I want to purchase a slug barrel for my Nova 28". Its not tapped for a scope like the Nova slug gun. Is it even possible to tap the gun with all that polymer? Or should I just get a mount from B Square? http://www.reliablehost.com/bsquare/shotguncant.html Or just get a cantilever barrel from Ithica? http://www.ithacagunlodge.com/firearms/barrels/non-ithaca.shtml

I want to avoid the cantilever barrel because I would like to use a red dot or holo sight for turkey hunting. Let me know if you have any ideas.
