tnduckhunter Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 How many rounds should I shoot through my SBEII before I start shooting my 3 1/2s? Quote
Robert II Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 You can start with the heavy 3 1/2" any time. The "light loads" are the ones that need a break in period to shoot. Best, Robert Quote
Drundel Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Yea, like robert said, start with the heavy nasty suckers and then you check it by shooting the light loads. I started my SBEII with about 20-30 3" and 3.5" magnums and then shoot about 300 rounds of 1oz. loads through it. I only had problems on the first few of the 1 oz. after that, been great. Quote
Sweater Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Would anyone recommend starting the other direction with lighter loads and then progressing to the heavier stuff or might that cause problems? Reason is I have a ton of trap loads I can get rid of before I go for ducks and geese the reat of the season. Thanks Quote
Robert II Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 That will also work, but there will be more FTE and manual extractions. Best, Robert Quote
