gregor187
I know about 3 inch verus 3.5 inch shells. What I am wondering is the difference on the inside. I looked at my owners manuals last night and the only parts number difference i could fine was the spring in the recoil tube has a different number for each gun. I am trying to find out if you could change maybe that spring and shoot lighter loads more reliably out of the SBE. I never shoot 3.5 inch shells in the gun but being and old A-5 shooter the semi hump of the SBE seems to fit me better than the other Benelli models. I own or have owned about six benellis over the last ten years. Does anyone here have any experience on the internal workings of the guns to this extent? Thanks for looking, Great forum.. gregor187
May have anwsered my own question. I was looking in Brownells cat. today and saw where they offer a reduced (light) load recoil spring and tube for both the M1 and the SBE. So there you go if anyone is ever interested.
