bird hunter1 Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Does anyone know if the front bead on the new M1 Super 90 Field is threaded or pressed on? I tried to remove it to put on a new HI-Viz light pipe but the factory bead site did not budge when I tried to loosen it with a pair of needle nose. I do not want to damage the orignial site bead (small light pipe). The Hi-Viz packaging indicated that Benelli gun sites are removable but did not list any models. mudhen Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Almost positive its a threaded 3-56 front sight. I have replaced mine on my newer SBE and it was 3-56 on the replacement. I think the factory uses Lock-tite. And yes, I do mangle a few every so often! mudhen - CA Quote
