SHOOT!
I was looking for some help. I need to find a shot gun for my daughter. I found the nova 20 gauge. I do have a few questions. Can you put the recoil reduce in the stock of a 20 gauge short stock, does it work? and can you port the barrel and not effect the gun in a negative way. Liberty or death Jr.
How old is she? Do you know what kind of recoil she can take?
tucker301
I don't know about the reducer in the short stock, but CS could tell you. My best guess would be no, because of the space limitatons. Porting a pump's barrel will have no negative effects on the performance or operation of the gun. It will add some noise to both the shooter and to bystanders. SHOOT!
she is 11 and was shooting a break action that is about 3 lbs. she shot a mid range load, 2 3/4" 1 1/8 oz #6. She hit what she was aiming at. I shot it and the felt recoil is pretty bad. Dad should have known!! I have to give her credit she still hunted after that but she would not take a shot. We went and "tried one on" and the LOP was better but cycling the gun while it is up is a little ways off. thank you guys
