Need Help with my Slug Barrel

My new SBE slug barrel came with plugs in the scope mount holes. The plugs have nothing to grab onto. They are smooth on both sides. How do I get these out?

I honestly don't even know if mine had them or not. When it came in I had the gunsmith mount a scope to it that day.
