howitzer Posted September 26, 2006 Share Posted September 26, 2006 I have a legacy 20 guage that doen't have a mag plug. I need one to be legal for bird season. I have a piece of heavy wire that I can cut. How long is the plug supposed to be? is it 2.75 plus 2.75 = 5.5 inches ? or is it 3 plus 3 inches = 6 or do I need a little extra length for the forearm threads/bolt that sticks out past the tip of the forearm ? Can i just cut a straight piece and slide it in to install - and shake it out if I want to take it out? or should I bend the top end a little to grab and pull it out ?
