What slug SHOULD i use?

if you are using a smoothbore, just dont use a sabot slug.they are not rifled.what are you going to be hunting, at what distance??

my opinion. a federal hi power 2 3/4-7/8oz rs will prove more than effective, with less damage.

Yea, i have 3" that i'm gunna test it with as far as how it shoots.

try several on a range first. then let us know what you found out. its better to try it on the range first. so if it fails you didnt lose a trophy buck.

The 3" shells i will be using are Federal Power-Shok. Not sure if i said that or not...
