I'm considering purchasing an Ultralight 20 ga for my wife/son to use.

How reliable is the ID mechanism on the 20 gauge?

I have a Cordoba 20ga. which has the Inertia Drive and it's worked without any difficulties shooting over a case of #8 shells in two days.
