you will get a shadow with that setup but it beats no light, that mount is traditionally the best setup along with stippled oem handguards. here it is on my entry

Yes they work with the oem hanguard. Personally I prefer using the oem hanguard over mlok. These light mounts have a qd socket to mount a sling.1 point
