  1. Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right sub but I figure some users here will possess the knowledge I seek. So I just impulsively ordered a benelli m4. It's been a dream gun of mine for some time. Upon ordering I've started looking into the accessories I'm going to be adding. There's alot of +2 tube extensions and I'm not sure which would be appropriate. I see the vickers bfg sling recommended alot, would the typical rifle sling work or are any of their other offers a better option? Wanting to get a light. I've used streamlight with ARs and AKs without issue but with 12 gauge recoil I'm not entirely sure how much recoil punishment the hlx will take.. should I just cough up the extra 150ish for a surefire? My final question is on the collapsible stock, the one I ordered comes with a fixed stock and I'm really wanting that classic collapsible stock. Does anyone have experience with both? Is that $500+ price tag really worth it? I was honestly kind of shocked when I looked it up right after the purchase.

  2. For slings I personally like milsurp M-240 slings and have several I bought years ago when they were just $10 - $15 each. They're meant to carry a much heavier weapon and are nicely padded and fat. They are harder to find now but I'm sure there are still some lurking in surplus stores. Hope you like black because that's what they come in. BFG has sling attachments down to a science. A gun sling is a must IMO.

  3. I am interested in the Chisel Machining Benelli M4 stock (USA made) and had a question regarding 922R compliance.interested in I am receiving my Benelli M4 this week and have purchased the following items to install. 1) Rxarms magazine extension (Canadian made) 2) Midwest industries Handguard (USA made) 3) Follower (USA made) From my understanding of 922R I need to add three USA made parts to be in compliance. I am highly interested in the Chisel Machining Benelli M4 stock and think it would make me 922R compliant. But I was on freedom fighter tactical’s website and saw the following:q “The most parts you'll ever need is replacement of 4 parts with 4 USA made parts. Benelli M4 shotgun with 7 round magazine tube and no collapsible stock: needs 3 parts Benelli M4 shotgun with collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock, no 7 round mag tube: needs 4 parts Benelli M4 shotgun with 7 round magazine AND collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock: needs 4 parts” I thought I would be in the clear, but Item #3 about the “collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock needing 4 parts” has me confused/concerned. Since I am adding a non-American extension and will have 1) USA hand guard, 2) USA follower, and 3) USA made stock, do I need a 4th part to be compliant with 922R? I thought as long as the stock isn’t collapsing/foldable I only need to add 3 USA parts. I am in California if that means anything. Thanks all. below is the linked product. https://chiselmachining.com/product/m4/ Item #3 about the “collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock needing 4 parts” has me confused/concerned. 4. Be advised that only a Benelli +2 extension can be counted on to get you two extra rounds, the American made +2 extensions are actually only +1 in some cases, plus using a mag extension doesn't count as a 'made in USA' part with respect to 922r if that matters to you. Regarding the C-stock - the reasons for having a C-stock are: the coolness factor, to have that USMC look, when wearing body armor for shorter LOP, and compactness especially on short barreled shotguns. When I buy a second hand M4 with the C-stock I remove it and sell it then use the money to go toward a quality red dot sight. I've had a C-stock or two over the years and I've found it's not a 'must have' item for me, I'd rather cash it out. I have no opinion for offer on your other two inquiries.
