Update: Got My Daniel Defense V7 pistol and Benelli M4 H20 bolt carrier back from Alabama Cerakote and Laser. Was $75 bucks each for the new DFL coating and I couldn t be happier with look and performace. Will put some pics below.

It does seem to cycle a little smoother and lot easier to clean. I think the chrome plating is on the inside. I have prob 300 rds thru mine now and i like it a lot. It seems to cycle smoother. The coating has some cool properties. I coated my DD ar 15 and my 870 bolt carriers. I have never had any issues shooting loads. Mine will shoot anything except less lethal round. Low brass, high brass.....doesn t matter. I ll have to try a less lethal though to be sure.
