  1. Saw one locally yesterday. Don't recall the price but it was over $1000. Looked nice but I'd much rather have a standard style - non pistol grip.
  2. Ok, I need some assistance. I'm looking for the small retaining clip like the one shown in the pic below. Anyone know of a source for this little winged washer? Thank you!
  3. here's a better picture: Clearly shows it's based on the R1 actions but with the beretta carbine stock. And yup, it's .223 and does accept AR mags.
  4. From a Milipol exibit in Paris. Clearly it's a direct relation of the Beretta Storm carbine but notice the benelli mark on the butt pad.
  5. Yup, that's all I've seen or heard of one is that one pic.

    benelli 800

Anyone hear of any details about the Benelli 800? Collapseable stock pump with an apparnetly polymer receiver. Guessing it's a revamped Nova of some sort.
  7. they actually do make two .22lr guns. they just happen to be olympic style pistols and are imported my Larry Carter of Larry's Guns. http://www.benellipistols.com/
  8. A Nova should be more than capable for your purposes. Whether you use rifled slugs in a smoothbore or saboted bullets in a rifled bbl, the results - if you do your part - will be well within minute-of-deer. Didn't mention if you'll be using any optics or not. Doing so will likely make longer shots a bit easier. Iron sights will be adequate also. For comparison, I have ghostrings on my M1 and it'll cloverleaf 3 shots @ 75yrds. Try a few different loads to see what shoots best in your particular gun. Keep in mind the shotgun is not a long-distance tackdriver. Good luck!
