I'd tend to stay away from the spray lubes... just a little goes a long way and spraying the lube puts it places it's not needed and will only attract dirt/grime. I use Tetra Gun on most of mine and have been quite happy with it... be sure to shake any of the synthetics well before applying.

I've got an M3 and am very fond of it... I am a die hard Benelli fan, so it makes a good defense gun since I use Benelli's for hunting - all function is the same and control location is identical (with the obvious exception being the pump option)...
