just saw a m1 super 90 black pistol grip stock on e-bay at $77 about 2 hours left.

on the older hk's the factory put lock-tight on the stock retaining nut screw that requires heat (propane torch- 45 seconds or so) to release so the nut screw can be removed. i removed mine for the first time yesterday.

i suspect my operating recoil spring is tired. does anyone know the length of a new operating spring? my old spring measures 15 1/2 inches. i pulled it to lengthen it to 19 inches which seemed to help.
