  1. The Talon Swivels are sold individually by Cabela's as well. They are made by the Outdoor Connection. Could always replace uncle Mike's with Talon.
  2. Bought the padded super sling from Cabela's. It fits perfectly. It uses "Talon Swivels" and they fit as well. Just wanted to let everyone know so they don't have any problems.
  3. Montefeltro, Can you recommend a sling that will fit the SBE II? Is there a particular sling swivel that fits? Word is out that the Uncle Mike swivels that are on so many slings do not fit the stock swivel mount. I need a sling for the season but don't know which to buy.
  4. I have read you all talk about oiling or lubing the shotgun. I read the owners manual and it does not give any specifics as to where to oil. Where do you guys put your gun oil? Where are the moving parts on the gun that you want to see lubed? Thanks.
  5. Patterned my new SBE II today. It shot Kent Fasteel 3'' 1 1/8 oz loads high. Shot 75/25 and 65/35 patterns. Even left right. However, shot heavy game loads 2 3/4 " 3 1/4 Dram 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2's and got even left right patterns and 55/45 patterns top bottom. Therefore, based on the field loads the point of aim probably isn't too bad. Shot off hand not via bench rest. Has anyone else noticed if Kent fasteel or ultra fast steel at 1500 fps type loads tend to pattern high.
  6. Drundel Is the safety quieter now. Not such a loud quick when it is disengaged?
  7. I use it myself for bird hunting so exact aim isn't that important. Just wondering how the guns are usually set up and where it should be shooting. Is it manufactured to shoot dead straight or slighlty high. I assume for deer there are iron sighted barrells. Don't hunt turkeys.
  8. Two questions: When patterning a shotgun, do you cover up the center of the intended target with the bead or does the target rest on top of the bead? How do you guys sight in? Are shotguns manufactured to shoot a little high as to hit flushing birds or are they manufactured to hit right in the center at 40 yds? Thanks.
  9. I just picked up my new SBE II. The owners manual was missing, so I wanted to list what was in the box to make sure nothing else was missing. 1. Hard Case 2. Barrell 3. Receiver 4. Five choke tubes 5. Choke tube wrench 6. Shims, etc for stock adjustment 7. Benelli MF-82 lubricant Was there any other paperwork beside the owners manual that I should have gotten. Are there any other parts that I am missing? Thanks, Can't wait to go shoot the new gun.
  10. Thank you for reading the website and being willing to look and improve customer service. Listening is what it's all about. I have just purchased my first Benelli so no complaints here but I think it is great that you would come on the website and post up.
  11. I bought some after market choke tubes for my Beretta 390. Not the Extrema. They are interchangable with the Benelli SBE. I am buying a SBE II and I have heard the choke tubes that work with the SBE don't work with the SBE II. Is this true? If so, I hope the improved Crio Chokes will keep me from having to repurchase any aftermarket tubes.
