Sent my sbe 2 off yesterday and I am hoping for a quick fix on it. Shot 1000 rounds thru it; love everything about it-except the stiff safety. It is a simple fix, but why should we have to fix it. Sofar I am happy with benelli's response. If the sbe 2 comes thru in the 90 day hunting season and if benelli comes thru with the warranty on the trigger assembly there will definetly be a couple more in my gun cabinet, formly a rem. man!

Called benelli today about the stiff safety on my camo sbe2; the customer service lady told me that this problem sounds like it is only with the camo sbe2's. The usa rep. just left for Italy and would be back next friday. That was one of the main concerns. She said that he would either post a reply on the subject next friday on the internet or to call back to benelli. I will be waiting to receive an answer in a week. Shot another 200 rounds of trap loads threw it, it handled great-no ejection problems at all. Love the gun, but the safety is unexceptable, own about 8 shotguns of different types, and never had a safety problem with any of them. Make us proud benelli and fix the problem with our guns;I'd like to buy the supersport2,but if customer service is not there I will look else were for my next gun.

I would like to know the process which my hdmax4 was put on my sbe2 28" barrel shotgun. Is there a base coat and then the camo,is it heated on,ect. And how do you properly wipe the camo pattern down with out ruining the camo,and how tough and durable is the camo on the gun. This is my first benelli, and my first synthetic camo gun. I just purchased a sbe2 hd max4 adv. 28" barrel shotgun, i really like this gun. I shot 100 rounds of light dove LOADS THRU IT,first one jammed ejecting, 99 more light loads did not. Shot 50 3" mags thru it ,no problems along with 20 3" turkey loads-no problems at all. But the one problem I did have was that the saftey was so stiff that my finger was numb after shooting,not good! Some advice please,if fixable will it mess up my warranty? I'm useto shooting rem's,nice soft saftey. This saftey issue is something I should not have to be dealing with! ----REALLY LOVE THIS GUN,SHOT MANY DIFFERENT KINDS,THIS IS MY FIRST BENELLI,HOPEFULLY NOT MY LAST!
