  1. JUST to make sure I called three different dealers--no 1100 G3 left hand 20. And Remington also made a 870 LH in a 20 ga. I am always a day late on buying one!!!!
  2. 12 and 20 right hand only---please please show me where they make a 1100 G3 20 ga. left hand!!!!!!! Of course I read very fast.
  3. If they did (HINT HINT) I would own two!!!
  4. I fit into both categories; I have had one shoulder surgery and now need a total shoulder replacement. I am paying very close attention to this thread!!

    SBE II POA

When I got my SBEII about 13 months it shot about 14 inches high out of the box. I shimmed the gun and got it down to 12 inches high. I sent the gun into Benelli; they sent it back with a bigger bead!! This does absolutely no good. POI has not changed, I point a shotgun I don't aim it. When I shoot I don't even know there are beads on the gun. Benelli service said yes the gun shot 12 inches high but with the new bead and aiming the gun it only shot 9 inches high. I complained to the service manager and he told me after hunting season to contact him and Benelli would do what ever it took to make it right. Well after several e-mails and 2 unanswered voice messages I gave up and just lived with it. I like a gun to shot high but this was a little too much. My opinion changing the bead does nothing. This is the 4th SBE I have owned and my son has owned 3. He bought his about 2 weeks after I bought mine. His patterned perfectly out of the box. He or I would shoot nothing else!!!
  6. When I pattern my SBEII LH with 3 1/2 magnum shells it kicks like heck. When I dump 3 of the same shells into a flock of greater canada geese I don't even know it went off!!!!
  7. It it clean and dry inside, dry meaning no oil????

    SBEII shims

Side to side, it is notched and will only fit side to side. Your owners manuels will explain it.

    2 SBEII ?'s

I switch to left-handed guns in 1987, all my guns are left handed now. There is no reason to shoot a right-handed gun. As far as learning to load and operate a left handed gun after a little adjustment you will never go back to right handed gun. And yes they are easy to find but you may have to look a little!!! A left-handed shotgun is a must if you shoot with both eyes open. There are too positives to shooting a left-handed gun to have to settle for a right handed one. If some thing is worth doing it is worth doing Left!!!! [ 08-27-2004, 09:22 AM: Message edited by: shootem ]

    SBEII shims

Yes, no cast is a straight line down the middle of the gun. The cast is opposite for a right hand shooter and a left hand shooter. The cast is always set to move the recoil away from the face. It also can be used to move POI. The SBE2 is set up with the stock shimmed correctly if you buy the RH or LH model. If you remove the shim it has no cast, if you flip the shim over it will cast the gun opposite from what it was set up for.
  11. I believe when they said heavy loads they were talking like a 3 inch mag. I shot several rounds of 3 inch mag and 3 1/2 mag shells through my SBE LH when I first got it. I shot several hundred 3 dram 1 1/8 OZ loads through he gun after that . Maybe 1 or 2 hang-ups per 100 rounds.

    SBEll Delays

Some dealers have had them of a couple of months. I think if you look around you will find one.
