  1. did they make a steadygrip for a M1? I don't think so.
  2. Just watched a Benelli tv show where Steve Mckelvain of Benelli USA is shooting a steadygrip M2 20ga on a Texas turkey hunt. I and several ppl I know have been asking for this gun for years...... is it finally here???
  3. I tested the load with my SBE II shooting through a Rhino .660, it put more pellets in the 10" and less in the 20", around 300-310 in the 10", but overall the pattern was not as even as the PG .670, which I liked a little better. The 4x5x7 Nitro Hevishot will have over 500 pellets per shell, so the difference is more like 100 pellets than 200. I'm loading a 3 inch 2 oz load which will have about 620 pellets and a 3 1/2 inch, 2 3/8 load with about 700.
  4. It's not being loading commercially at this time, hand loads only. It will cost you about 4-5 bucks a shell to hand load.
  5. I basically have one already, with a much better sight.....the Docter, the original open reflex; plus mine is mounted in a much nicer way, direct mounted with a Burris 336 direct mount base, which eliminates the weaver rail and weaver base, makes the whole setup more than twice as light and mounts closer to the receiver, not to mention it looks a lot cleaner. Just need to get the port job, already have all the other mods, plus some xtra stuff, like custom sling stud, and limbsaver pad to replace (hard as rock) steadygrip shoulder pad.
  6. Yes, I've been shooting TSS(Tungsten Super Shot) for going on three years now, friend of mine Hal is the pioneer of developing the TSS loads for turkey hunting, he's been loading it for me the last two seasons, now I'm loading my own. I've shot 9 gobblers and 1 coyote with the TSS loads in the last two years. I've been shooting 3" 2oz loads of a duplex of 9x8's, 1oz each. There's about 620 pellets in this load. TSS is the densest load available @ 18g/cc. This makes it equal to lead pellets 5-6 times it's size in penetration. #9 TSS is equal to #4 lead, #8's are equal to #2 lead. I've shot just about all turkey loads on the market including Nitros, nothing compares to this stuff in pattern density and long range killing power!
  7. Thanks for the info. Let me know what you find.
  8. I try not to buy any right handed guns, have SBE II Lefty already, it's a dedicated turkey gun, looking to buy a couple more for wing shooting and wanted a 20ga. Been using Browning Citori O/U's
  9. No M2 20ga............. or any 20ga Lefty
  10. Docter Optic on my SBE II, love it.
