  1. I use my Nova Pump for all types of target busting from trap, skeet, 5-stand, FITASC, and sporting clays. Paying for all these targets at the local courses is getting expensive. I want to get a Lincoln SC-90 or Falcon used. Either with or without a stand and with optional arms if available (such as rabbit, teal, double trouble and so on). Thanks, Timothy cell 714 222 6643 [email protected]

  3. Think of this: A lever action rifle is similar to the feeding mechanism on a shotgun. The reason is because of the flat fronts of the rounds/shells. They stack end to end. When you try to feed the shells vertically they would get stuck, jam, without the ramp of the current models. That is why rifle bullets are pointed. So that they self center, and go farther.
  4. I had the same problem with my benelli. I just made sure that I put a big gob of choke grease on all of the choke tube that touched the barrel. It filled in the gap that used to get fouled. Now with it always wet, any fowling that shows up whipes right off.
  5. When you get the barrel, that is all you will need. There are no other parts that you will need to install the new barrel. It is simply a quick change out.
  6. The problem with adding the comfortech stock to the nova is that the nova has no seperate stock. the stock and receiver are all one piece. A note on the recoil reducer: it is the buttpad that make the recoil feel hard. I had a recoil reducer for my nova and thought it was a joke, but that is just me.
  7. The reason that a gun is marked 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" is to make sure that you never, never use a shell larger than the ones listed on the gun. That is it; end of story.
  8. I have two novas. The reason I have two: I bougth a nova synthetic for home protection w/ 18/5" barrel. As I used it more at the range, I started to use it more and more for breaking clays. I never had a jam or misfeed problem that was not of my fault in short shuking. When I finally realized that a cylinder bore short barrel is not the way to go, I decided to get a new barrel, but a new barrel cost more than a used gun with the 28" barrel I wanted. I went with the used gun. The first time I shot the used gun the shells would not eject from the magazine tube. The previous owner had let water sit inside the magazine tube and it rusted the spring and inside walls of the tube. The rust left a rough spot that the magazine follower was catching on. After I filed it down a bit and ran some steel wool through the tube, it has functioned perfectly. I now have over 1,500 shells through the gun without even so much as re-oiling, running a boresnake through the barrel, or anything that closely resembles cleaning the gun without a single feed problem. I hope that this helps you in two ways: One, keep the tube dry. Two, the Nova is awesome in its utter reliability if nothing else. Timothy
