    Sling Swivels

Have you tried http://www.brownells.com? Check the schematics tab at the top of the page. DGA
  2. Go to http://www.brownells.com At the top of the page there are tabs. Click on the one for Schematics. You want Schematic ID# 683. The part number is 133 on the Schematic. Make sure you do not also need part number 136 also. It is the retaining ring. 133 60405 067C60405 301-000-125 Sling Ring, M1 Magazine Cap, $12.36 retail, $9.89 wholesale. 136 60409 143B60409 301-000-184 Sling Swivel Retaining Ring $10.35 retail, $8.28 wholesale. Good luck. DGA

    Shell ejection

I had the same problem with 1 and 1 1/8 oz loads in both my M1 and a Rem 11-87 that I owned. I tried the Sure Cycle device in the 11-87. It is just a stainless steel version of the factory part. I saw no improvement and no purpose for the Sure Cycle device to exist unless you just want a rust resistant part. I just started loading 1 1/4 oz. loads and have had no further problems. Oddly, I have never had any problem with 1 oz. slugs in either the Benelli or the Rem.

    Rail for M1

Does anyone know of a source for a Picitanny rail that will fit on the receiver of an M1 Tactical? Will the rail from an M1 Practical fit? If so.... anyone know where that part can be bought? Has anyone found a better solution for mounting optics? Not interested in saddles. Thanks
  5. Sorry for this. I didn't respond to this post. I read it and joined the forum after reading it. I assume that I am now attached to the post. I do understand the poster's frustration, however. I am puzzled, however, since my experience is that H&K doesn't have customer support... period.
  6. I have an M1 Super 90 with the gost ring sight. Is there anyone making a Picitinnay rail that will attach via the original sight screw holes in the reciever. If that is not available... is there an online gunsmith that will attach a rail to the receiver of an M1 in my lifetime and for my entire life savings? Thank you for your information. DGA
