Its just not worth the headache... I think it is very shady that Benelli will even be importing the parts and allowing them on the civi market knowing this. There are enough legal toys I can own that I dont need something that could (even though wouldnt be) a headache... Just not worth it. Enjoy them I will enjoy my HK/Benelli M1 & M3

Be realistic... Why would the BATF give them an exemption? Already having an M1 & M3 I just don't see the need for this. What makes it so much better than the M3 if I cant get the collapsible stock? I don't see what makes this worth the $1100 + they cost. At least the old M1 & M3 can have the extensions on them. For fun there are many other toys Id get over a shotgun.

So its illegal? Why would Benelli import the parts? They are just trying to get people in trouble... I just placed an order for an M4 yesterday and the dealer told me Benelli had them coming in and he would make sure I got one... After reading this I am sending him an Email and telling him I cant go through with the order. This sucks, I was getting excited to get this thing!
