I bought a nova earlier this summer primarily for turkeys but used it on pheasants this fall and loved it. The forearm is a bit loose and noisy but I've read several things you can do to cut down on that. I bought mine without shooting it first, based a lot on recommendations in this and other forums, and haven't regretted it a bit.
